Law On The Divorce And Maintenance Of Dogs
The Committee on Environment and Environment of the State is accelerating the adoption of an animal law. In the coming month, until 24 March, deputies are awaiting proposals for a bill on responsible animal management from all legislative actors. This decision has been taken by the Committee in consultation with the Council of the Danube.
Some 190 amendments had been made to the draft law, and the Government had not yet made any amendments. In working on the law, we have taken into account not only all the proposals that have been made, but also the views of public organizations and experts, we have endeavoured to eliminate acute, unresolved issues. The text of the law for the second reading is almost ready. In the coming month, however, we want to hear the position of the regions as they are prepared, since the main powers for the implementation of the law will be reserved for the Federation " , the Chairman of the Olga Timofev Committee informed journalists.

The bill " Responsible Treatment of Animals " was introduced in the State in autumn 2010 by a group of deputies in the fifth round. In March 2011, it was adopted on first reading. The paper raised a lot of questions and disputes among experts and zoo-protectors and ultimately remained on the shelf.
The current proposition is that the law is needed to resolve conflict and tragic situations that arise in connection with animals. President Vladimir Putin drew attention to the importance of the adoption of the law. In November last year, the Government was requested to finalize the bill.
The Committee on Environment and Environment, which has been submitted to the new Duma, is working with experts and civil society organizations to update it.
