In the two months of this year, in the territory of the People ' s Republic of Donetsk, law enforcement officials recorded 132 attacks on citizens, 54 of which were committed by domestic animals. As a result of the attacks, citizens were slightly injured and, in one case, serious injuries.

According to the Public Relations Centre of the MUPDA, law enforcement officers, together with community workers, systematically conduct preventive raids on the catch of brothel animals and regularly conduct preventive interviews with dogs. Fifty-two administrative protocols have been drawn up for violations of dog regulations (art. 154).

Order alerts home-owners to the fact that according to article 154 of CAP (violation) of dogs (e.g., dogs and cats) activated in public spaces, as well as walking dogs without leashing and wetting (except for dogs with registration certificates with special markings) or walking animals in undisclosed locations entails a warning or a fine.

The same acts that caused harm to human health or property, as well as the repetition of the offence during the year, would result in a fine with the confiscation of animals.
